LKV Feature: Bloggers Rock’n Vintage with Kéla Walker
Posted on March 8, 2013
I have the pleasure of starting off Lily Kai Vintage first series; Bloggers Rock’n Vintage with the amazing Kéla Walker of Kéla’s Kloset. I started following Kéla’s blog a little over a year and a half ago and fell in love instantly. While in NYC last year for Fashion Week we meet and I thought to myself she is the real deal! Find out more about Kéla and her love of vintage.
I Rock Vintage because
Oooh, man there are so many but I would have to say it was a score from the Goodwill. I have this ridiculous obsession with Diane Von Furstenberg and her wrap dresses. On an impromptu trip to the GW upstate, NY ( all the best deals are in the suburbs) I scored not 1, not 2 but 3 vintage DvF dresses for 22 bucks. You should have seen my face when I spotted them and how fast I scooped them off the rack. They are from the early years of the line and feature her signature print. I still can’t believe I found those dresses or that someone actually got rid of them in the first place. Who would do such a thing?
