Maternity Style My Way
Posted on August 22, 2013
I’m so proud of myself, two post in one week! Slowly but surely I’m getting back in the swing of things, lol. As mentioned in my earlier post I am not a big fan of maternity clothing. They are overpriced and generally not flattering to the way I carry. Since everything from my boobs, hips and belly are growing I try my hardest to accentuate the fact that I’m pregnant and not packing on pounds.
A couple of weeks ago I was in need of a few things to help get me through the summer with my growing bump so I headed to Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. My mission was a couple of dresses that could easily transition to the fall and that I could also wear after pregnancy. I typically don’t like wearing pants because the thought of something sitting on my waist makes me itch!
So lets talk hair! I’ve been very low maintenance with my hair. I think I’ve only straighten it about 4 times since March. I’m currently just shampooing it every week to week and a half unless I go swimming, hydrating and conditioning. For styles I two strand twist or wear grecian goddess french braids. This particular look was from french braids that I took down and pinned in the back to create a faux bob.
